I know they are one of the most american cars possible. Gigantic engine but not much power, good at a straight line but bathtub-like at corners and a plastic-fantastic interior.

Virtual impossibility in the UK, they will be few and far between. It just so happens that a guy is selling 18 or so of his old American cars, and in the lot are two Impala SS’s. Also a 1st gen Ram 250 with the 5.9 Cummins diesel, which is also tickling my fancy.

And knowing about American cars in EU, they will likely be in good condition. Around my travels in Switzerland and Belgium I’ve seen some great looking american iron, always in spotless condition.

I only have the Maps link because Schaefft bought his Aurora from the same guy and therefore knows his address. I think he said the one on Saudi plates is a Caprice Classic, and the mouldy one is an Impala SS. We won’t know fully until they’re listed.

I had a Caprice 9C1 (the police car version) The Impala SS was the civilian version of that car.

There’s a possibility. I live in the UK, and a guy is due to sell around 18 or so cars, most of which are 90’s Americana. What caught my eye are two ‘96 Impala SS’s (one possibly a Caprice Classic), and a Dodge Ram 250 diesel. Although I have no idea if/when the cars might be listed, I’d like to be fore-armed when it comes to knowledge on the specific problem areas and what to look for.
